Today, Philip Lee is one of the fastest growing law firms in Ireland.

Established by Philip Lee in 1993 as a sole practitioner, the firm has grown from a boutique practice to a full-service corporate and commercial law firm with a staff of 180.

In 1993 our founding partner, Philip, wrote a book on the European procurement directive which became the catalyst to set up his eponymous law practice. Originally specialising in niche areas of law including international trade, competition and procurement law, the firm has grown consistently through a combination of hiring brilliant people and constant innovation.

In 2020, Philip Lee merged with McEvoy Corporate Law, enhancing the firm’s corporate advisory practice and further strengthening its position in the Irish business law market. In the same year, Jonathan Kelly was appointed as the firm’s new managing partner.

Our flagship office in Dublin is enhanced by offices in San Francisco set up in 2012 and London in 2018. This global focus reflects the firm’s strengths in international trade, intellectual property, information technology, foreign direct investment and venture capital.
